            Sungai Opak yang membelah kota yogyakarta sebelah timur dari Kab.Sleman sampai ke Kab Bantul

          Sedangkan sungai oyo yang bersumber dari Wonosari yang berkontur tanahnya berbatu-batu menyimpan potensi ikan sidat(bahasa Jawa) atau belut berukuran besar begitu juga sungai Opak juga sebagaian besar kontur tanahnya yg berbatu juga banyak hidup ikan sidat. Di sepanjang kedua aliran sungai tersebut menyimpan banyak potensi ikan-ikan monster air tawar,seperti :
Patin (pangasius),baung ( mystus nemurus),Boso/Betutu (oxyeleotris Marmorata),Gabus (channa striata),Lele dumbo (clarias gariepinus) maupun Lele lokal,Nila (Oreochromis Niloticus),Mujair (oreochromis Mossambicus),Sapu-sapu (Hypostomus Plecostomus),Gurami (Ophronemous gourami), Bawal (Collosoma), Silli (Mastamcembelus Macrognatus), Keting (Mystus nigriceps), Tawes ( Barbodes Gonionotus), Palung ( Hampala macrolepidota), Grass karp ( Ctenopharygodon Idella),Sidat / belut raksasa ,dan masih banyak lagi jenis- jenis ikan yang ada di sungai tersebut.
